Michele Alexander is the author of The New Jim Crow: Mass Incarceration in the Age of Colorblindness. Alexander was the Keynote Speaker for the 2018 Martin Luther King week at UNC Asheville. Squad members were invited to attend and we brought along our audio equipment to get some interviews.
